Doris Metropolitan began serving premier meats in Israel in 2003. Under the name Doris Katzavim (Doris Butchers), our first restaurant instantly became one of the most popular destinations in Israel. By 2008 we had 3 different locations and a factory.
In 2010 we sought new challenges and refreshing markets. A visit in San Jose, Costa Rica charmed us with its large potential due to a big demand for a high quality steak house.
In the spring of 2010 we opened the doors Doris Metropolitan in Santa Ana, a suburb of San Jose that considered the most developing and promising areas in San Jose’s metropolitan area.
Doris Metropolitan has established in Costa Rica as fine dining restaurant that offers a unique and exclusive experience with its food and atmosphere.
We have chosen New Orleans for our next destination. “The Big Easy”, a culinary capital who offers different and large types of cuisines and charm, Doris Metropolitan is naturally fitted.
Doris Metropolitan New Orleans opened its doors at the end of October 2013, our uniqueness culinary experience in a city such as New Orleans immediately made it to the ears of this foodie town people, in a short amount of time in the local market Doris has become one of New Orleans landmarks in the culinary aspect as the city’s most unique and high quality steakhouse. In July 2014 Doris achieved one of New Orleans's best culinary prizes by winning the prestigious "New Orleans Best New Restaurant" award by The New Orleans Magazine.
